Can I send my visa application to Embassy of China in Washington by mailing?
Hi! I'm Richard, from Wyoming, I know that I should apply for a Chinese visa at Embassy of China in Washington, however, I don't want to go to Washington for application, can I send my visa application by mailing?
 Answered by Tina
The embassy doesn’t accept visa application by mailing. For visa applications, applicants are required to come to the visa office or entrust a relative or friend or travel/visa agent (no power of attorney is required) to come to the visa office for the application process.
